This session is aimed at pre-school children to experience their first steps into gymnastics! It is ideal for improving gross motor skills, co-ordination and spatial awareness in a fun and safe environment, whilst enhancing physical and mental confidence. Parents/carers will be shown and guided in assisting their child through a range of gymnastic based skills and activities.

Fundamental 1 we teach the fundamentals of gymnastics and ensure that all children develop confidence. Children will develop basic movement patterns such as hopping, jumping etc. Also rolling, balancing and using apparatus which is appropriate to their size and experience. It is essential that children have fun and develop the movements and coordination to enable them to progress to working on larger piece of apparatus safety and appropriately. As this is one of our core gymnastic classes, children will begin working on the British Gymnastics proficiency awards. Our main emphasis is on FUN and enjoyment!
