This is a two-day open event that allows gymnasts and acrobats of all ages and ability an opportunity to perform and gain valuable competition experience in a relaxed and friendly environment.

FLOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
Saturday 2nd November 2024

The first day of the championships is an individual event, competed on a 12 metre x 2 metre floor area.
Gymnasts will compete in the following school age group categories:
Reception/ Year 1 & 2/ Year 3 & 4/ Year 5 & 6/ Year 7 & 8/ Year 9+ ​

Gymnasts compete without music in one our 'set' levels:

Preparation Set (Year 4 and under)

Advanced​

There is also a disability section for each level at each age group
​
Medals will be awarded in each section.
If there is a low entry in certain age groups then some sections may be combined.
Clubs from the North Region must be registered with the North of England Gymnastics Association & all clubs must be registered with British Gymnastics to take part in the competition.

ACROBATICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The second day of our Championships is all about Acrobatics!
NOVICE 1
Each partnership must perform ANY 3 partner elements and ANY 3 Individual elements from level 1 of the NDP 10

NOVICE 2
Each partnership must perform ANY 3 partner elements and ANY 3 Individual elements from level 2 of the NDP 10
​
NOVICE 3
Each partnership must perform ANY 3 partner elements and ANY 3 Individual elements from level 3 of the NDP 10

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR NOVICE 1-3

Gymnasts can compete in Women's/Men's/Mixed Pairs or Groups
-
The routine will NOT be performed to music and will be completed on a 12x4 metre strip.
-
The routine should show a start and finish position and can show choreographic links between elements.

The routine will last no longer than 90 seconds.

There are no age or height restrictions.

No tariff sheet is required

NDP
Gymnasts can compete in any of the NDP levels.
Partnerships competing at grade and 5 and IDP can compete either 1 or 2 routines – the highest scoring routine will count for ranking purposes.
There are no age or height restrictions, but all other NDP regulations apply.
Competition entry will be through Acro Companion (including uploading of music & tariff sheets)
F.I.G
Gymnasts can compete at any F.I.G level from 11-16 – Senior
Partnerships may perform one or two routines
The highest score will be the counting score for purposes of ranking.
There are no age or height restrictions but all other F.I.G rules apply (2022- 2024)
Competition entry will be through Acro Companion (including uploading music & tariff sheets

Clubs competing in NDP or F.I.G are required to provide at least one judge. There will be a 'non-judge' fee of £50.
​

Regional clubs must be registered with the North of England Gymnastics Association & British Gymnastics to take part in the competition.
